Release writing with the full moon
Tools:
Sage/Incense
White or Red Candle (optional)
Sandalwood or Frankincense (optional)
Salt
Zip Loc Bag
Journal Paper + Pen
Clear Your Space + Tools
Burn Sage in your sacred space as well as going over all tools you will use for the ritual. While burning sage, move around your space and say aloud or to yourself, “Thank you Sage Spirit for your offering and for banishing negative energies from my space”
Really connect to Burning the Sage and what you're saying and doing. This will help you connect to your higher self and get into a meditative headspace.
Charge your tools.
To charge each item you must hold an item in your left hand, visualize your energy mingle with the energy of the item, until it becomes bright and strong and then say “I charge this ___ to catalyze my every thought and deed by my will. I ask that this be correct and for the good of all. So may it be.”
Burn Incense or Light your candle accordingly with your intention of releasing any feelings of perfection, sadness, anger, fear..
Release Writing
Think about what’s holding you back from living as your Highest self in your Highest vibration. What do you need to leave behind to step into your power?
Freely and truly write down everything you have felt, any fears and negative thoughts. Write it all down! If you start to cry, get angry or sad, acknowledge your heart, send your heart gratitude for being brave to rehash these feelings and continue to write it all out,
LEAVE ALL THOSE FEELINGS ON THAT PAPER!!
Burn or Freeze
Once you’ve finished writing it's time to destroy the paper! If you are able to burn the paper, please do it outside and if possible in sight of the moon ( if you cant see the moon, visualize the smoke going up to the moon and taking this burden off of your shoulders)
If you can’t burn it, then fold the paper and put it in a ziploc bag and pour salt over it.. You will need to throw it out, but in a public garbage. If you can't throw it out after your ritual, put it in your freezer until you get outside!
Feel the lightness of this great release. Do a little shimmy! Move your body around, dance it out!
Gratitude + Bath
In the space you did your release writing, if possible open a window or burn sage again, to move out any residual negative energy.
Then it is important that you say or write what you are grateful for in your journal or You can do this while you set your bath or prepare your shower. Use epsom salt for your bath, if you can't bathe, add some salt to your shower and stand on it until it melts.
You may be tired for a couple of days, that is normal, just make sure you are tending to your heart. Trust that the moon is nourishing your soul with her illuminating light!
